Tahira Kashyap announces cancer relapse after 7 years, remains positive
Kriti SonaliAyushmann Khurrana's wife, Tahira Kashyap took to her social media to announce that her cancer is back after seven years.
Tahira shared, "Seven year itch or the power of regular screening-it's a perspective, I had like to go with the latter and suggest the same for everyone who needs to get regular mammograms."
"Round 2 for me..I still got this," she added.
Tahira shared this note with the caption, "When life gives you lemons make lemonade."
She went on to add, "#regularscreening #mammogram not shying away from saying it #breastcancer #onemoretime #letsgo."
"Ironically or not today is #WorldHealthDay Let’s do whatever we can in our capacity to take care of ourselves ❤️," wrote Tahira.
"#gratitude through and through 🙏," she concluded.
Tahira Kashyap was diagnosed with stage 0 breast cancer in 2018.
Tahira was declared cancer-free in 2020.
Tahira has always been very vocal about her journey with cancer.
Tahira is a filmmaker and has also written and produced several films.
