Within the wake of the State Legislative Meeting elections, the Maharashtra State Excise Division’s Pune Division has registered 1,267 crimes and arrested 1,179 folks since October 1, 2024. Along with this, 982 autos and money amounting to Rs 5.55 crore have been seized, stated Charan Singh Rajput, State Excise Superintendent.
59 proposals underneath Part 93 of The Maharashtra Prohibition Act, 1949 have been filed with the involved Justice of the Peace in opposition to repeated offenders within the district.
