The Dehradun Police Wednesday arrested two tea sellers from Mussoorie “for making an attempt to incite spiritual sentiments” after a video purportedly confirmed them spitting in a teapot.
In response to a press release from the police, Naushad and Hasan Ali, who hail from Muzaffarnagar in Uttar Pradesh and reside in Mussoorie, have been arrested on the idea of a criticism made by a person recognized as Himanshu Bishnoi.
In his criticism, Bishnoi claimed that he noticed one of many two males who have been promoting tea at Mussoorie’s Library Chowk repeatedly spitting into the pan, and shot the video.

“The accused, by this act, not solely performed with the well being of the folks but in addition tried to impress them by hurting their spiritual sentiments. In view of the seriousness of the incident, Senior Superintendent of Police, Dehradun, constituted a crew by directing Inspector in-charge Mussoorie to arrest the accused instantly,” the police stated.
In response to the assertion, the 2 males had allegedly absconded from Mussoorie and have been arrested from close to Ashkrodi, some 40 kilometres away.
