Two individuals died and one was injured after a sulphur tank exploded at a sugar manufacturing facility in Maharashtra’s Jalna district, an official has stated.
The accident passed off on Thursday afternoon in Bagehswari Sugar Manufacturing unit in Partur, some 390 kilometres from right here, he stated.
“Whereas work was underway on the manufacturing facility, a sulphur tank exploded. The deceased have been recognized as Ashok Tejrao Deshmukh (56), a resident of Sindkhedraja, and Partur resident Appasaheb Shankar Parkhe (42). One individual is hospitalised with accidents,” he stated.
Partur police have registered an unintentional demise case and have begun a probe, the official stated.
