Two coaches of an empty native practice derailed whereas getting into a automobile shed from Mumbai Central, affecting operations on the Western Railway on Sunday afternoon, officers stated.
There have been no studies of any accidents because the practice was empty when it derailed round 12.10 pm, stated Vineet Abhishek, chief public relations officer of Western Railway.
The derailment has severely affected the suburban companies because the gradual monitor in direction of Dadar is blocked, he stated.
“The gradual monitor in direction of Dadar between Churchgate and Mumbai Central is blocked. Nevertheless, trains are being diverted to the quick line between these two stations to make sure continued operations,” the official stated.
He stated efforts are underway to rerail the coaches and restore companies.
