A 23-YEAR-OLD digital advertising and marketing government was killed in a hit-and-run accident on Wednesday morning after she was run over by a dumper truck on Karve highway whereas crossing the road on foot. Police stated the deceased girl was talking on the cellphone when the truck hit her.
Officers from Alankar police station stated the deceased Aarti Suresh Manwani, who belonged to Amravati, labored as a digital advertising and marketing government for a non-public agency in Pune. The incident occurred round 11 am when Manwani was strolling in the direction of Kothrud bus stand from Damodar Villa Society on Karve Highway.
“Preliminary investigation means that Manwani was speaking on cellphone whereas crossing the highway.
