Sharing the information, Tripura Chief Minister Manik Saha wrote on his social media deal with, “A proud second for Tripura! The State has secured seven Nationwide Panchayat Awards, scripting historical past. This vital achievement displays our dedication to delivering good governance.”
The awards will probably be given out on the Nationwide Panchayat Award Ceremony slated to be held on December 11 in New Delhi. A delegation led by Sandeep R Rathode, Secretary, Rural Improvement (Panchayat) division, will signify the state authorities on the occasion.
The Amarpur RD block in Tripura’s Gomati district has been ranked the most effective district panchayat and the most effective block panchayat below the Nanaji Deshmukh Sarvottam Panchayat Satat Vikas Puraskar.

The Thakchahra Gram Panchayat below Amarpur RD Block bagged the second place within the Carbon Impartial Panchayat class below the Gram Urja Swaraj Vishesh Panchayat Puraskar.
