Three labourers had been killed and 6 others injured after a 400 KV transmission line tower fell on them in Madhya Pradesh’s Sidhi district on Thursday, a police official mentioned.
The incident happened in Aamdad village underneath Rampur Naikin tehsil at round 12:30pm, the official knowledgeable.
“The labourers had been changing previous transmission towers with new ones. A tower collapsed on a bunch of labourers, killing two on the spot, whereas a 3rd particular person succumbed to accidents enroute to hospital. Six individuals had been injured and have been admitted to Sanjay Gandhi Medical Faculty, Rewa,” Sidhi Superintendent of Police Ravindra Verma mentioned.
The identities of the deceased, who belong to West Bengal, are being ascertained, he added.
