A terrorist hideout was busted in Jammu and Kashmir’s Poonch district, whereas a suspected Improvised Explosive Gadget (IED) was present in Akhnoor close to Jammu on Saturday night, officers stated.
The hideout was busted by a joint search get together of police and Rashtriya Rifles at Jhullas Behra village, resulting in the restoration of two hand grenades and a few ammunition, the officers stated.
They stated each the grenades have been later destroyed by the specialists in a managed explosion with out inflicting any harm.
In one other incident, the officers stated a suspected IED with a timer was discovered close to Gharota in Akhnoor space on the outskirts of Jammu.
Bomb disposal squad was rushed to the scene and additional particulars are awaited, they stated.
