
A 5.8 magnitude earthquake struck Taiwan’s rural northeastern county of Yilan on Wednesday, the island’s meteorological division mentioned. There have been no quick stories of injury, Reuters reported.
As per preliminary stories, the earthquake shook the buildings within the capital metropolis of Taipei. The earthquake struck at a depth of 72.4 km (45 miles), the climate administration mentioned.
