The Joachim-Ma Stradivarius will get its identify from its two most well-known house owners: Joseph Joachim of Hungary, who lived within the nineteenth century, and Si-Hon Ma of China, whose property donated the violin to the New England Conservatory in Boston after he died in Philadelphia in 2009.
