NCP(SP) chief Sharad Pawar on Sunday mentioned that he had a telephonic converstion with Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis over the dying of a person following violence in Parbhani and the homicide of a sarpanch in Beed.
This comes a day after Pawar visited the households of Santosh Deshmukh, the deceased sarpanch, and Somnath Suryawanshi, who allegedly died in judicial custody after his arrest in reference to the Parbhani violence.
“At the moment I spoke to the Chief Minister about (the incidents in) Beed and Parbhani the place I visited yesterday. I instructed him that the scenario was severe and requested him to be aware of the difficulty,” the NCP (SP) chief mentioned in Pune, the place he attended the Bhimthadi Jatra on the School of Agriculture.
Pawar mentioned he additionally invited the Chief Minister to the 98th Akhil Bharatiya Marathi Sahitya Sammelan which is scheduled to happen in New Delhi subsequent month.
