Okay Sanjay Murthy, a 1989-batch Himachal Pradesh cadre IAS officer, would be the subsequent Comptroller and Auditor Common of India.
He’ll succeed incumbent Girish Chandra Murmu, who’s retiring on November 20.
In a notification, Ministry of Finance mentioned, “By advantage of the facility vested in her by clause (1) of article 148 of the Structure of India, the President has been happy to nominate Shri Okay. Sanjay Murthy to be the Comptroller and Auditor Common of India with impact from the date he assumes cost of his workplace.”
Murthy is presently serving because the Secretary, Division of Greater Training, within the Ministry of Training.
He has been holding the publish since October 1, 2021. His tenure because the Greater Training Secretary has been marred by paper leak incidents.
