New Orleans Saints star defensive finish Cam Jordan donated to a victims’ fund of these affected by the fear assault that came about on Bourbon Road within the wee hours of New 12 months’s Day.
Jordan wrote on social media that he donated $25,000 to the New 12 months’s Day Tragedy Fund.

“I’m becoming a member of @GNOFoundation and the @CityOfNOLA by donating $25,000 to the New 12 months’s Day Tragedy Fund to assist victims of the assault,” Jordan wrote on X. “Please contemplate donating to help the households of those that misplaced their lives and people who have been severely injured.”
The Larger New Orleans Basis set the fund up within the wake of the fear assault that came about within the metropolis.
“The Larger New Orleans Basis joins the Metropolis of New Orleans and fellow neighborhood companions to launch the New Orleans New 12 months’s Day Tragedy Fund to help the victims and survivors of the 2025 New 12 months’s Day mass casualty incident,” the outline of the fund reads.

“At round 3:15 a.m. on New 12 months’s Day, a person driving a white pickup truck plowed into crowds on Bourbon Road as revelers have been gathered within the aftermath of New 12 months’s Eve celebrations. The FBI is now investigating the mass-casualty incident as a terroristic act.”
At the very least 15 individuals have been killed, and several other others have been injured within the assault.

The assault compelled the postponement of the Sugar Bowl, which is now set to happen on the Caesars Superdome at 4 p.m. ET.
