
Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw Thursday lauded the onerous work put in by over 10,000 railway staff concerned in dealing with the passengers visiting the Maha Kumbh Mela in Prayagraj, which concluded Wednesday.
Round 17,000 trains dealt with over 4 crore passengers at 9 stations in Prayagraj between January 13 and February 26, the Ministry of Railways stated.
Vaishnaw, who visited Prayagraj station Thursday, reviewed the works undertaken by railway workers through the interval.
Extending his appreciation to all staff, Vaishnaw stated, “This was a vital occasion. This can be a message of social concord and unity in our society.
