
The Panjab College has appointed Prof Anil Monga as advisor (campus safety) and Tejinder Singh Sandhu, (retd SP), as officer on particular obligation (campus safety). These appointments are a part of the college’s ongoing efforts to strengthen safety measures in each campuses.
Prof Monga, former chief of college safety and former chairperson of PU Police Administration, brings in depth expertise in safety administration and police administration. He has mixed educational experience with sensible safety methods.
In his new function, he’ll advise on enhancing safety protocols and strengthening institutional security measures, leveraging his deep understanding of legislation enforcement and college safety dynamics.
Sandhu retired as SP (Detective), Bathinda, on October 31, 2024, after an illustrious profession spanning over three a long time within the Punjab Police. Through the years, he has served in key positions equivalent to SHO in a number of police stations, DSP (Safety Wing), Punjab, DSP (Vigilance), Mohali, and SP (PBI and Headquarters).
Each the appointees will conduct a complete safety audit of the college and implement measures to reinforce campus and hostel security.
