With a number of trainer unions protesting in Punjab, the state training secretary on Monday issued an order stating that the “rule of no work, no pay” will likely be strictly enforced for lecturers collaborating in agitations. The directive emphasised that college students’ training was being adversely affected as a result of lecturers protesting with out taking prior depart.
In a written order, Punjab faculty training secretary Kamal Kishore Yadav stated: “It has come to the discover of the undersigned that the workers of the Schooling Division will not be performing their duties and leaving their locations of obligation on the pretext of collaborating in agitations… This has led to a scenario by which college students’ research are struggling, and the conventional functioning of colleges is being hampered.”

The rule of ‘No Work, No Pay’ shall be strictly imposed.
