
Days after assuming workplace, Ludhiana Commissioner of Police Swapan Sharma issued a written order imposing a proper costume code for each policemen and workplace employees on responsibility.
The CP’s order reads: “It has been seen that police officers posted within the workplace usually are not correctly dressed after they put on civil garments, however they’re carrying denims, T-shirts, sports activities footwear, and so forth. Police are a disciplined drive, and all workers (men and women each) are directed to put on formal shirt/trousers and salwar/kameez with dupatta.”
Sharma mentioned that he issued the order after noticing a number of workers within the workplace have been carrying garments reminiscent of torn denims, and so forth. “Being a disciplined drive, we’ve to keep up decorum whereas coping with the general public, and the drive ought to look skilled.
