Newly appointed Maharashtra Pradesh Congress Committee president Harshvardhan Sapkal will Tuesday formally take over from Nana Patole, who was MPCC president since 2021. Sapkal was appointed because the Maharashtra Congress president after Nana Patole resigned from the place following the Maharashtra Meeting elections.
In line with Congress functionaries, the charge-taking ceremony of Sapkal will happen on the Birla Matoshri Auditorium in Mumbai’s Marine Traces.
“Preparations for the ceremony have been accomplished, and the MPCC has urged Congress staff to attend in massive numbers. Nana Patole efficiently led the Maharashtra Congress for nearly 4 years, guiding the celebration by way of elections, by-elections, and the Lok Sabha polls, the place Congress carried out effectively within the state,” a Congress functionary stated.
The ceremony can be attended by Congress’ Maharashtra in-charge Ramesh Chennithala, All India Congress Committee (AICC) Basic Secretary Mukul Wasnik, senior chief and Congress Working Committee member Balasaheb Thorat, Legislature Social gathering Chief Vijay Wadettiwar, former chief ministers Prithviraj Chavan and Sushilkumar Shinde amongst different state working presidents, senior celebration leaders, workplace bearers, and celebration staff.
