German luxurious carmaker Mercedes-Benz on Friday stated it can hike costs of its automobiles in India by as much as 3 per cent on its complete mannequin vary within the portfolio from January 1, 2025, citing an increase in enter prices, inflationary pressures and better operational bills.
Costs of Mercedes-Benz vehicles in India will likely be revised by Rs 2 lakh for the GLC to Rs 9 lakh for the top-end Mercedes-Maybach S 680 luxurious limousine, Mercedes-Benz India stated in an announcement.
The mix of rising enter prices, inflation, and better operational bills has been exerting appreciable strain on Mercedes-Benz India’s enterprise operations and the corporate has been absorbing the rise in operational value because the final three quarters, it added.

To make sure the sustainability of our enterprise, we’ve determined for a nominal value correction.” This value correction will apply to these automobiles presently not in inventory, providing value safety for all current and future bookings till December 31, 2024, Iyer stated.

At the moment, Mercedes-Benz India sells a spread of automobiles with costs ranging from Rs 45 lakh for the A-Class to Rs 3.6 crore for the G63 SUV.
