Within the wake of weeklong nationwide mourning for former Prime Minister Manmohan Singh, the Bar Council of Gujarat has cancelled the oath-taking ceremony of the newly enrolled advocates scheduled on December 30.
Chairman of Bar Council of Gujarat J J Patel stated the ceremony, scheduled to be held within the presence of Union House Minister and Minister of Cooperation Amit Shah and Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel, has been cancelled in the intervening time after discussions with the Bar Council of Gujarat and Bar Council of India.
The swearing-in ceremony, welcoming 9,000 newly enrolled advocates on the state roll of the Bar Council of Gujarat for the years 2023 and 2024, was scheduled on Monday.
Sanatan Dharm rally referred to as off
Ahmedabad-based Vishv Umiya Basis has cancelled its “Sanatan Dharm Jagruti Bike-Automobile Rally” scheduled on Sunday.
The bike and automobile rally from Ranip until Umiyadham in Jaspur Ahmedabad was introduced forward of the ‘Sanatan Parva Divya Hanumant Katha’ by Baba Bageshwar from January 3-6 at Vishv Umiyadham Temple in Jaspur. Officers of the inspiration said that there’s uncertainty concerning the Katha – whether or not it will likely be held or not — which might be cleared in a day or two.
