The Lokayukta sleuths on Friday raided seven officers and carried out searches at a number of areas in reference to the disproportionate property case.
Based on a senior Lokayukta police officer, the raids had been in opposition to two officers every in Bengaluru and Belagavi, and one every in Chitradurga, Raichur, and Bagalkote.
The officers embody Sanjay Manded, First Division Assistant on the Sub-Registrar workplace in Belagavi South, Shashidhar, Supervisor within the District Backward Class division in Chitradurga, Shivalingaiah Hiremath, Panchayat Growth Officer in Holageri Grama Panchayat in Bagalkote.
The opposite officers are Madhav Rao, Assistant Government Engineer within the Hebbal Engineering Division of the Bruhat Bengaluru Mahanagara Palike, T Okay Ramesh, Deputy Secretary within the Rural Growth and Panchyatraj Division, Narasinga Rao Gujjar, Assistant Accounts Officer, Raichur District Panchayat and Sanjay Annappa Durgannavar, Supervisor, Animal Husbandry Division.
The raids began early within the morning concurrently and would proceed until the night, Lokayukta sources stated.
