The highest editor at The Los Angeles Instances reportedly reassured fearful employees Friday after the outlet’s billionaire proprietor vowed to take the paper in a brand new route to make sure “all voices are heard.”
L.A. Instances proprietor Dr. Patrick Quickly-Shiong stated that he needed to redo the “total” paper, after promising earlier within the week there can be a “new editorial board.”

The choice sparked backlash from employees, prompting three editorial board members to resign in protest.
Quickly-Shiong pledged over the weekend that the paper may have a “new editorial board” with a view to promote “belief” within the media within the wake of President-elect Donald Trump’s resounding victory.
“When the President has gained the vote of nearly all of Individuals then ALL voices have to be heard. Opinions are simply that. I’ll work in the direction of making our paper and media honest and balanced so that every one voices are heard and we will respectfully trade each American’s view ..from left to proper to the middle. Coming quickly. A brand new Editorial Board. Belief in media is crucial for a powerful democracy,” Quickly-Shiong posted to X on Sunday.

He reiterated on Fox Information that he needed the paper to be greater than an “echo chamber.”
