The Division of Justice (DOJ) is accusing LA Health of discriminating towards disabled folks in a lawsuit that was introduced on Tuesday.
In a press launch printed by the DOJ, the company defined that it was suing Health Worldwide LLC – the corporate that owns LA Health – for “discriminating towards folks with disabilities at its gymnasium and health golf equipment.”
The DOJ is asking the Central District of California to “cease LA Health from discriminating towards folks with disabilities, together with by requiring LA Health to make its services and gear accessible.”

“The ADA requires LA Health to provide folks with disabilities equal entry to LA Health’s companies and services, take away architectural limitations to make its services accessible to folks with disabilities and preserve accessible options,” the DOJ argued.
