Alhambra Unified Superintendent Denise Jaramillo wrote in a press release Wednesday that district workers want extra time to examine colleges for security. The district is situated within the western San Gabriel Valley area of Los Angeles County.
“Whereas our campuses have fared comparatively properly up to now, the air high quality is predicted to stay poor resulting from extreme mud from the winds and smoke from the fires,” Jaramillio wrote.
