A 28-year-old lady driving a scooter was killed in Bengaluru on Tuesday morning after being hit by a rushing Bengaluru Metropolitan Transport Company (BMTC) bus and dragged by a cab for about 40 toes. The bus and cab drivers have been arrested.
The police recognized the lady as Monika S, a resident of Maruthi Nagar on Ullal Foremost Street, and mentioned that she hailed from Mandya. Monika labored as a receptionist at a Royal Enfield showroom in Nagarabhavi and was on her technique to work when the accident occurred at round 9.50 am.
The incident occurred close to Ullal Upanagar Lake alongside 80 Ft Street. The police have registered instances towards BMTC bus driver Suresh, cab driver Sharan Prasad, and BWSSB officers. Monika was married to Rajkumar, who works within the personal sector.
