Members of J&Okay Peace Discussion board, an organisation based by Kashmiri Pandits, met outstanding Kashmiri chief and cleric Mirwaiz Umar Farooq Thursday in a bid to advance the prospects of an inter-community reconciliation to pave the best way for the return of Kashmiri Pandits to the Union Territory.
Within the assembly it was determined that steps can be taken for an inter-community session committee to revive the composite tradition of Kashmir and be sure that all communities can dwell there in concord.
“…Mirwaiz reaffirmed that the plight of Kashmiri Pandits is a humanitarian difficulty and should be addressed with care and urgency,” the discussion board stated in a press release. “Kashmir is incomplete with out Kashmiri Pandits.”
Satish Mahaldar of the J&Okay Peace Discussion board stated the session committee would discover the potential of designated colonies being arrange in J&Okay for the protected return of the displaced. “We’re Hindus however now we have Kashmiri prefixed to our identification, and we’re eager to nurture that identification,” he stated.
