Conservatives on social media praised Kash Patel, President Donald Trump’s nominee for FBI director, after a thorny alternate with Democratic Sen. Amy Klobuchar throughout his affirmation listening to Thursday.
“That is a common assertion and a mischaracterization of what I stated,” Patel informed Klobuchar in response to questioning a couple of previous quote that the senator urged confirmed Patel believes some U.S. Capitol Cops lied below oath through the Jan. 6 hearings.Â
“I encourage you to learn the remainder of the interviews,” Patel added. “Because of this snippets of knowledge are sometimes deceptive and detrimental to this committee’s recommendation and consent.”
Klobuchar responded, “If you happen to consent, I might like to have 5 hours of questions, after which I may learn the entire transcripts.”
