The Mumbai police on Wednesday detained a Mulund-based man for allegedly making a risk name to the police management room. The police stated the caller gave the impression to be mentally disturbed.
An officer stated that round 1 am on Tuesday, the Mumbai police management room obtained a name from a cell quantity. The caller began abusing the police and stated he would blow up the police headquarters. He claimed to be the brother of “aatanki Kasab”, apparently referring to Ajmal Amir Kasab, the 26/11 terror assault convict who was hanged. “Kasab ka bhai bol raha hoon,” he stated and hung up.
The cell quantity was traced to Mulund, following which an FIR was registered on the Mulund police station. The police then tracked down the caller on Wednesday.
