President-elect Trump tapped Kari Lake as the following director of the Voice of America, a state-funded U.S. authorities broadcaster.
“I’m happy to announce that Kari Lake will function our subsequent Director of the Voice of America. She can be appointed by, and work carefully with, our subsequent head of the U.S. Company for World Media, who I’ll announce quickly, to make sure that the American values of Freedom and Liberty are broadcast across the World FAIRLY and ACCURATELY, in contrast to the lies unfold by the Pretend Information Media,” Trump wrote in a launch on Wednesday night time.
Lake was a longtime Arizona broadcaster who ran unsuccessfully for public workplace in 2022 and 2024.Â
