
In its first notice of the day, the jury in Daniel Penny’s manslaughter and negligent murder trial reported that it’s “unable to return to a unanimous vote” on whether or not Penny dedicated second-degree manslaughter within the dying of Jordan Neely, a homeless man, on the New York Metropolis subway.
“We the jury request directions from Decide Wiley. Presently, we’re unable to return to a unanimous vote on court docket one,” the notice stated.
Penny pleaded not responsible to manslaughter and negligent murder fees.
