Israel has issued a warning to its residents wishing to attend sporting and cultural occasions involving Israelis this week after assaults on supporters of the nation’s soccer staff in Amsterdam this previous week.
Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s workplace launched a press release saying Israel has intelligence that pro-Palestinian teams overseas intend to hurt Israelis in cities in France, the Netherlands, the UK and Belgium, amongst others.

France will bolster its safety for the match, and Paris police mentioned on Sunday that 4,000 officers and 1,600 stadium workers will guarantee safety measures are adopted in and across the stadium in addition to public transportation.

In the US, the Israeli Embassy to the U.S. posted a graphic video of the violence, saying “the mob who focused these harmless Israelis has proudly shared their [violent] acts.”
In the meantime, Rep. Ritchie Torres, D-N.Y., condemned the violence in a put up on X.
“The hysterical and hyperbolic demonization of Israel has led to a worldwide outbreak of antisemitic vitriol, vandalism, and violence,” he wrote. “The one most monstrous manifestation of antisemitism is a pogrom that’s presently unfolding towards tons of of Jews who had been cheering on the Tel Aviv Soccer Membership in Amsterdam.”
