The notification from the Dwelling Division said that Amin, a 2003-batch IPS, was granted Junior Administrative Grade Degree-12 from January 1, 2012. The notification additional said that Amin was granted Choice Grade to Degree-13 from January 1, 2016. The notification additional reads, “Dr NK Amin, the then Superintendent of Police, Mahisagar, is hereby promoted to Deputy Inspector Normal of Police Degree-13A with impact from January 1, 2017, on notional foundation.”
