The Indian Institute of Know-how Madras (IIT Madras) is becoming a member of palms with Renault Nissan Know-how and Enterprise Centre India Pvt. Ltd. (Renault Nissan Tech) for expertise growth and innovation. By means of this partnership, IIT Madras will launch extra internships and placement alternatives for BS Diploma college students, which is being actively pursued by 35,000 college students.
Up to now, Renault Nissan Tech and IIT Madras have collaborated a number of instances, comparable to:
— Engagement with IIT Madras BS college students by way of Renault Nissan Tech’s senior professionals who volunteered 140+ hours as Viva examiners for Machine Studying Follow Challenge (at diploma degree) and management discuss on ‘Explainable AI’.
— Supplied internship to 3 college students which received transformed to full-time positions at Renault Nissan Tech.
— IIT Madras school participation in ‘Residing with AI’ panel dialogue hosted by Renault Nissan Tech.

— Benefit-cum-means scholarship to 300 college students with annual household revenue of lower than Rs 5 lakh each year.
The MoU was signed at IIT Madras campus within the presence of Prof Prathap Haridoss, Dean (Educational Programs), IIT Madras, Debashis Neogi, Managing Director of Renault Nissan Tech, and Prof Andrew Thangaraj, Chair, Centre for Outreach and Digital Schooling (CODE) IIT Madras, Coordinator IITM BS Diploma & NPTEL together with senior delegates from Renault Nissan Tech.
