The Indian Institute of Expertise, Bombay (IIT-B) has signed an MoU with Japan’s Tohoku College to ascertain the IIT Bombay-Tohoku College Joint Tutorial & Analysis programme. This tutorial and analysis initiative will provide collaborative Grasp’s and PhD programmes, offering college students with alternatives for twin mentorship, entry to world-class assets, and immersion within the tutorial ecosystems of two world-class establishments.
The programme might begin with a twin diploma initiative for analysis goal and will evolve as a Joint institute over a time frame as soon as the required approvals are obtained from each the senate and authorities.
This collaboration is about to begin on the earliest, with each establishments wanting to implement their imaginative and prescient of cutting-edge tutorial and analysis applications that tackle world challenges. This initiative exemplifies IIT Bombay’s dedication to fostering world partnerships and advancing tutorial excellence.
This MoU signing ceremony was graced by senior delegations from each universities. Dr Sharad Kumar Saraf, Chairman of the Board of Governors at IIT Bombay, and Prof Shireesh B. Kedare, Director of IIT Bombay, exchanged the MOU with the Prof Teiji Tominaga, President of Tohoku College, Japan marking a brand new chapter of their enduring partnership.
