Hamas launches rockets from Gaza one year after Oct. 7 attacks, while IDF strikes terror targets

The Israel Protection Forces introduced Monday that a number of rockets have been fired towards Israel from the Gaza Strip on the one-year anniversary of the Hamas terrorist assault that launched the conflict. 

Navy officers say the Israeli Air Pressure “intercepted 5 launches that crossed from the north of the Gaza Strip” into Israel. The Jerusalem Publish reported that two individuals have been calmly injured after being hit with shrapnel.

“A short time in the past, the Israel Air Pressure (IAF) struck Hamas launch posts and underground terrorist infrastructure,” the IDF added. “Moreover, in a single day, the IAF and IDF artillery struck targets within the central Gaza Strip that posed a menace to IDF troops working within the space.” 

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu visited a memorial in Jerusalem on Monday for civilians, first responders and troopers killed in Hamas’ assault on Oct. 7, 2023.
