The three Krishi Vigyan Kendras (KVKs) run by Gujarat Vidyapith college are being developed as coaching centres for pure farming. The KVK at Ambeti shall be developed as a centre of manufacturing of millets and rice, KVK Dethali will develop into an vital centre for seed manufacturing and meals processing, and the KVK at Randheja is to develop into an “ultimate mannequin farm” of pure farming.
These selections have been taken in the course of the assembly of Gujarat Vidyapith Mandal Wednesday below the chairmanship of Acharya Devvrat, Chancellor and Governor of Gujarat Vidyapith. The college in Ahmedabad was established by Mahatma Gandhi on October 18, 1920.
The purpose of this improvement is to supply correct scientific steering to the farmers round these centres.
