A 49-year-old authorities faculty trainer has been arrested for allegedly attempting to outrage non secular emotions and upsetting breach of peace by printing communally inciting pamphlets in an try to defame his estranged son-in-law for allegedly “harassing” his daughter.
Officers on the Limbayat police station in Surat metropolis on Saturday arrested Suleman Chand Shaikh, the accused who allegedly printed a bunch of communally inciting pamphlets below the banner of Star Trek teaching courses run by his estranged son-in-law Mushtaq.
Shaikh allegedly needed to show his son-in-law a lesson for harassing his daughter, who has been dwelling with him after separating from her husband, stated police.
In line with the police, Shaikh printed about six pamphlets in his faculty and circulated them within the neighbourhood, enlisting “methods to deal with Hindu proper wing organisations” for college kids attending the teaching courses.
Deputy Commissioner of Police, Zone 2, Bhagirath Gadhvi stated, “When the pamphlet was extensively shared with provocative messages, individuals contacted the police and a probe was initiated.
