Amongst a number of adjustments launched within the Gujarat Secondary and Greater Secondary Training Board (GSHSEB) rules, a recent provision has been introduced for Class XII college students of medical stream from subsequent session. They’ll seem for the Maths examination in both the supplementary examination or as a non-public scholar in the principle exams the next 12 months.
The notification issued by the GSHSEB on Tuesday underlined amendments which have been applied for Class XI and XII science streams (medical and non-medical). If a scholar of Class XII Group B (medical) fails to clear, s/he can re-appear both in Group A (non medical) or Group AB (each medical and non medical), as per the recent rules.
Additionally, a scholar who clears Class XI science stream Group A or Group B or Group AB can select any of those teams in Class XII.
The amendments within the GSHSEB 2005 guidelines have been applied to encourage college students to take up Science streams in Class XI and XII as over time, the variety of such college students has witnessed a decline within the state.
