The Rajkot Rural Police Monday confirmed it fired 10 tear fuel shells and carried out a lathi cost on a mob of 1,500 individuals in Vinchhiya village of Jasdan taluka after they allegedly resorted to violence following the police refusal to publicly parade six homicide accused by the village.
