Sen. Eric Schmitt, R-Mo., stated Sunday that he has no considerations about President-elect Donald Trump’s choice of former Rep. Tulsi Gabbard to function director of nationwide intelligence.
Gabbard, a vocal non-interventionist, has seen her credentials come below scrutiny, notably in gentle of a regime change in Syria and her covert assembly with former strongman Bashar Assad in 2017, which occurred after he had used chemical weapons on protesters. She later stated Assad was “not the enemy of america.”
“I do know Tulsi Gabbard. She’s a patriot. She served our nation honorably. She, I believe, suits the reform agenda.
