4 folks, together with a two-year-old woman, died and eight others have been injured after their car hit a stationary truck in Sri Satyasai district early on Saturday, police mentioned.
Penugonda sub-divisional police officer Venkateswarlu mentioned the accident occurred on Nationwide Freeway 544E round 5.30 am at Kodikonda Sira, about 5 km from Madakasira village.
“We suspect that the accident occurred as a result of the driving force dozed off on the wheel. The car (tempo traveller) carrying 13 folks veered from the left aspect of the street and rammed into the truck parked on the appropriate aspect of the street,” he mentioned.
In response to police, a bunch of 13 pilgrims was getting back from Tirumala and was close to their hometown of Kummara Nagepalli village in Gudibanda mandal when the mishap came about.
