Deputy Commissioner of Police (DCP), Central Lucknow, Raveena Tyagi, mentioned the incident occurred at Lodge Sharanjit in Naka space of the state capital.
“The accused, recognized as Arshad (24), allegedly killed 5 members of his circle of relatives. Following the ugly act, the native police promptly apprehended the accused from the crime scene,” Tyagi mentioned.
The deceased have been recognized as Alia (9), Alshia (19), Aksa (16) and Rahmeen (18) — all sisters of Arshad. The fifth is Asma, the mom of the accused, based on police.
The DCP mentioned Arshad, 24, is a local of Agra, including the preliminary inquiry has revealed that he took the step due to home disputes.
The forensic groups have been deployed on the crime spot to gather proof whereas an in depth probe has been launched into the matter, she mentioned.
