A Federal Emergency Administration Company supervisor was fired and is underneath investigation for allegedly asking crew members to not examine properties in a hurricane-ravaged Florida city that had indicators supporting Donald Trump’s marketing campaign, the company stated.
The incident occurred when the unidentified FEMA supervisor was surveying injury from Hurricane Milton in Florida and allegedly instructed their members to keep away from the properties that had the indicators, the company stated in an announcement.
FEMA Administrator Deanne Criswell known as the incident “reprehensible.”
“This can be a clear violation of FEMA’s core values and rules to assist individuals no matter their political affiliation,” she stated in an announcement.
The supervisor has been terminated and the matter has been turned over to FEMA’s Workplace of Particular Counsel, in response to Criswell.
