A Durga Puja pandal in Murshidabad district has sparked controversy because the idol of the demon king, Mahishasur, bore a putting resemblance to the arrested former principal of RG Kar Medical School and Hospital, Sandip Ghosh.
The picture went viral on social media platforms — Fb and Instagram — with customers stating putting similarities. “The face simply wants glasses and it’ll appear like a mirror picture of Sandip Ghosh,” a Fb person commented.
