A Durga Puja pandal in Murshidabad district has sparked controversy because the idol of the demon king, Mahishasur, bore a putting resemblance to the arrested former principal of RG Kar Medical School and Hospital, Sandip Ghosh.
The picture went viral on social media platforms β Fb and Instagram β with customers stating putting similarities. βThe face simply wants glasses and it’ll appear like a mirror picture of Sandip Ghosh,β a Fb person commented.
The organisers, nonetheless, vehemently denied any intentional resemblance, claiming it was merely a coincidence.
