A drone carrying 498 g of heroin and one empty pistol journal was intercepted on Friday afternoon in a farmer’s discipline in Raja Rai village of Punjab’s Ferozepur district, police and the Border Safety Power stated.
The China-made drone, “DJI MAVIC 3 Basic”, which got here from the Pakistan aspect, was intercepted by 182 battalion of the BSF’s Joginder Chowki positioned within the Lakhoke Behram space, Superintendent of Police Randhir Kumar stated.
It was a joint operation of the BSF and the Punjab police, which has registered an FIR towards unknown folks underneath the Narcotic Medication and Psychotropic Substances Act, the Arms Act and the Plane Act.
