Immediately, the Division of State introduced the launch of the 2024 “The Local weather Disaster: Working Collectively for Future Generations” Worldwide Customer Management Program (IVLP) initiative. This change initiative will deliver over 80 local weather specialists and advocates from roughly 60 international locations to america to interact with their American skilled counterparts on the detrimental impacts of the local weather disaster and alternatives for worldwide partnership and cooperation.
From September 30 to October 19, the worldwide members will meet with authorities officers, environmental and local weather specialists, entrepreneurs, media professionals, and group leaders. Conferences will tackle methods to advertise local weather resilience and clear power, efforts to strengthen land and ocean stewardship, nationwide and native approaches to drive modern local weather options, and extra.
The 2024 “The Local weather Disaster: Working Collectively for Future Generations” IVLP initiative is led by the U.S. Division of State’s Bureau of Academic and Cultural Affairs and Bureau of Oceans and Worldwide Environmental and Scientific Affairs and is supported in its implementation by FHI 360.
