
The AIIMS Jai Prakash Narayan Apex Trauma Middle (JPNATC) on Thursday launched 5 state-of-the-art modular operation theatres (OT), taking the variety of operational OTs to 11.
The brand new OTs, having an space of 58-72 sq m, are spacious sufficient to conduct surgical procedures associated to organ retrievals, AIIMS JPNATC chief Dr Kamran Farooque stated. Until now, there have been six OTs within the trauma centre. “We’ve got acute care centres the place OTs run 24X7 and 12 months,” stated Dr Farooque.
