Chief Minister Atishi introduced that the muse stone for a brand new Delhi Metro hall from Rithala to Kundli shall be laid on Sunday.
She stated throughout a press briefing that the Regional Speedy Transit System (RRTS) challenge connecting areas throughout Delhi, Uttar Pradesh, Haryana, and Rajasthan shall be inaugurated, together with the extension of the Delhi Metro Magenta Line from Janakpuri West to Krishna Park.
Delhi authorities has contributed Rs 1,260 crore to the RRTS challenge, which is collectively funded by the Centre and the governments of Delhi, Uttar Pradesh, Haryana, and Rajasthan, she stated.
“The brand new Rithala-Kundli metro hall and the RRTS challenge symbolize a big milestone in strengthening inter-state connectivity and easing transport challenges,” Atishi stated.
“The extension of the Magenta Line may even enhance accessibility in West Delhi, lowering journey time and making commuting extra handy,” she added.
The RRTS challenge will join key areas throughout the taking part states, and precedence is given to organising three corridors: the Delhi-Alwar hall, the Delhi-Panipat hall, and the Delhi-Meerut hall.
Collectively, these tasks goal to reinforce the general public transport community, scale back visitors congestion, and contribute considerably to the financial progress of Delhi and its neighbouring states, Atishi stated.
