The 29-member society of the Prime Minister Museum and Library (erstwhile Nehru Memorial Museum & Library) headed by Prime Minister Narendra Modi as its president has bought a short lived extension till January 13, 2025, coinciding with the time period of the PMML Govt Council whose chairperson is Nripendra Misra. The five-year time period of the society ended on November 5. In November 2019, the federal government had reconstituted the NMML society, eradicating Congress’s Mallikarjun Kharge, Jairam Ramesh and Karan Singh as its members, and inducting, amongst others, TV journalist Rajat Sharma and adman Prasoon Joshi.
‘Invite’ Of Woes
There appears to be no finish to YSRCP’s woes since its defeat within the Andhra Pradesh Meeting and Lok Sabha elections earlier this 12 months. The most recent within the sequence is talks of its Rajya Sabha MP Vijaysai Reddy getting an “invitation” to hitch the BJP. Whereas the MP has not made any touch upon the problem, his celebration colleague and Lok Sabha MP Mithun Reddy rubbished it as a hearsay, saying: “He’s household for the YSRCP. He won’t ever be part of some other celebration.”
